I worked with Dan in Indianapolis in the mid 1990s at Disability Determination. He was in my training class in 1992. Our class was together for a long time because they were rennivating new office spaces for us, and we were together - probably 3 or 4 months - when usually a class is together for only 2 months. Even after we were broken up and sent to different units - we got together once a month as a group and had lunch. Dan loved spicy things, and I remember teasing him because he even put hot sauce on his dinner rolls. He gave me a recipe for a spicy potato dish that is really good. I make it ever so often. I got married in 1994, and Dan gave me a special soap from India. He told me it would help keep my lovely complexion. He always had a twinkle in his eye, and he was such a genuine soul. He left DDB, before I did, and we lost touch. For some reason, I was thinking about him and decided to Google him - and found his obituary. I know it has been more than a year since his passing. However, I hope his family knows that he touched more lives than they might know. Blessings to you all.
