Obituary for Naomi Kathryn Perry (Southern)

Naomi Kathryn Perry, 93, of Harrodsburg passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Garden Villa in Bloomington.
Born, June 11, 1926 in Lawrence County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Thomas and Louise (Helton) Southern.
Naomi was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who enjoyed watching IU Basketball, Cincinnati Reds Baseball, listening to gospel music and spending time with her family.
She was a member of the Assembly of God Church on the Hill in Harrodsburg, and she was a former employee of Indiana University working in the Halls of Residence.
Survivors include her sons, Roger D. Perry and Jan D. Perry (Colleen), daughter-in-law, Judy Perry, and sisters, Beverly Schutte and Norma Blackwell, grandchildren, Liza Perry (Chuck Sample), Jacob Perry, Jill McCrosky and Joy Falahee (Tommy), great-grandchildren, Madison Sample, Abby Sample, Gabby Hernandez, Alexa Falahee and Forrest McCrosky.
Naomi was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Robert Wayne “Ned” Perry, son, David Michael “Mike” Perry, and siblings, Wayne Southern, Robert Southern, and Thomas Southern Jr., and sister, Oweetah Chasteen.
Memorial Services for Naomi will be 11:30 am Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the Church on the Hill-Harrodsburg Assembly 9181 S. Gore Road Harrodsburg, IN 47434.
The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard is handling arrangements.
