Edie was probably the most loving giving person I’ve ever known other than my mother. She loved children, anyone’s children. She was my sister in law and Aunt to my children. She was an angel on earth and she will be missed by everyone who knew her. She is climbing the Stairway to Heaven.

Edie, I love you and I am so blessed to have had you in my life, never a woman like you. To Edie’s family my sorrow is very great for you all this is a terrible loss for you and a gain for Edie. Be blessed and be thankful to have had a beautiful sister, cousin , grandmother and friend. You will be missed Miss Edie.

Although Edie was not my actual aunt I loved her just like she was my aunt I called her aunt Edie and I remember back when she was a hairdresser on Rogers Road out by Bloomington Hospital I was very small back then and they were teaching me how to paint nails it was a whole lot of fun and lots of great memories she will be missed and forever loved I love you Aunt Edie you have given me many many memories you will always be in my heart you were also my mamaw Vettas best friend for life

She loved us as her own. What a wonderful bonus mom she was to Bobby and I. We were lucky to have had her in our lives. She will always be in our hearts!!

Edie was a treasure. She used to "do my hair" all those years ago. She will be missed by many. So sorry for everyone's loss.
