Obituary for Mary Ruth "Ruthie" Lyle

Mary Ruth “Ruthie” Lyle, 59, of Odon and formerly of Bloomington, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday June 20, 2018 at Gentlecare Nursing Home in Vincennes. Her loving family was at her side.
Ruthie was born October 21, 1958 in Martinsville, Indiana and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Many Annos (Dewar) Hillenburg. Ruthie had worked at Crane Naval Base and most recently she was a House Mother and School Teacher with the Pentecostal Children’s Home in Barbourville, Kentucky. She was a member of Scotland Full Gospel Church in Scotland, Indiana. Ruthie loved the Lord, her family and didn’t know a stranger. She was very crafty and loved to crochet baby blankets and sew.
Survivors include her son Jeffery Lyle of Bloomington, 2 grandchildren, Catrina Rae Lyle and Joey Johnathon Lyle both of Allen, Nebraska , brother-in-law Ron Helderman (Marilyn) of Bloomfield and several nieces and nephews.
Ruthie was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Mary Annos Hillenburg, sister, Anna Rae Helderman and brother Jimmie Hillenburg.
A Celebration of Ruthie’s life will held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday , June 30, 2018 at the Scotland Full Gospel Church.
