Stella B. "Steffi" (Kondzik) Buczek
Stella "Steffi" B. (Kondzik) Buczek, 98, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away May 18, 2018 at Bell Trace Health and Living Center. She was born January 5, 1920 in Russellton, Pennsylvania, to the late Frank Kondzik and Anna (Kocot) Kondzik. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. Steffi retired in 1982 from Indiana University. She enjoyed spending time with her family, attending Indiana University basketball and football games, bowling and playing cards.
Survivors include two sons, Bob (Pat) Buczek, of Bloomington, Indiana, and Jerry (Bernitta) Buczek, of Clinton, North Carolina; three grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William (Bill) Buczek, in 1998, brother, Frank Kondzik, sisters, Violet Kachurik, Anne Trestan, and Helen Walsh.
Family and friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday May 22, 2018 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington, IN. There will be viewing from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. followed by a prayer service at 9:30 a.m. on Friday May 25, 2018 at Rusiewicz Funeral Home 3124 Leechburg Rd., Lower Burrell, PA. A Christian Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. on Friday May 25, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church, New Kensington, PA. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Lower Burrell, PA.
