Obituary for Frances Evelyn Wiley

Frances Evelyn Wiley, 96, of Bloomington passed away on Friday January 5, 2018 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital surrounded by her loving son, daughter-in-law, granddaughters and caregivers. Evelyn was born June 6, 1921 in Rush County, the second child of the late Robert and Helen (Cregar) Saxon.
Evelyn married Guy Wiley and together they enjoyed 69 years of marriage. She was a Homemaker but was always ready to lend a hand to Guy during tax season with his accounting firm of Guy Wiley Jr. and Company. She was a Pink Lady for over 25 years at Bloomington Hospital and was a member the First United Methodist Church. She was a member of the IU Varsity Club and over a 50 year time span did not miss a single home Football or Basketball game. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed traveling on various trips as a family.
Evelyn is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis (Carol Forbes) Wiley of Indianapolis, 2 granddaughters, Hollynn Lambert Lobsiger (Ryan) and Heidi Lambert Peak (John) and 4 great grandchildren, Cooper Lobsiger, Caroline Peak, Eli Lobsiger and Eleanor Peak along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Guy Wiley, and 3 brothers, Marvin Saxon, Robert Saxon Jr. and Maurice Saxon.

Services for Evelyn will be 1:30 pm Saturday January 13, 2018 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington. Burial will follow the service at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Saturday from 11:30 am until service time at The Funeral Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Elks Lodge #446 or American Legion Burton Woolery Post #18.
