Obituary for Wendell "Jack" Hudson

Wendell "Jack"  Hudson
Wendell "Jack" Hudson, 72, of Bloomington passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born, December 13, 1944 in Hendricksville, he was the son of Wendell and Pearl (Cochran) Hudson.
Jack was an administrator in Human Resources at Indiana University. He was Director of Insurance and Retirement, later focusing on retirement benefits for Indiana University employees. He took pride in helping many people retire from the university.
He was a member of the Liberty Church of Christ in Hendricksville.
Jack was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed playing golf. His grandchildren were the light of his life.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Kaye (Chaney) Hudson, two sons, Jeffrey Hudson (Cheryl) of Minneapolis, MN; and Jeremy Hudson (Kate) of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren, Tori, Jin, Andy, Henry, and Reid Hudson, three sisters, Delores Schweer of Bloomington, Margie Ness of Huntington Beach, CA; and Nelda Porter (Bernard) of Hendricksville, two brothers, Rex Hudson (Shirley) of Bloomfield, and Kenny Hudson (Rotha) of Odon, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4-8pm Monday, December 4, 2017 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. in Bloomington.
Funeral services will be 10:30am Tuesday at Liberty Church of Christ, 12884 E. McVille Rd. Solsberry, IN 47459. Minister Keevin Gray will preside. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Church of Christ.
