Obituary for Carol "Blue" (Swango) WIlson

Carol Beth (Swango) Wilson passed away peacefully on August 16, 2017. Carol was born in Greensburg, Indiana on June 23, 1959. She went to Sandusky Elementary School and graduated from North Decatur High School in 1977.
Carol, known as Blue, was a musician that entertained others with song and playing guitar and a certified massage therapist, healing others with her gentle touch. She was the sparkplug of our family; a delightful, caring soul to those of us lucky enough to have known her.
Blue is survived by her husband of 30 years, Loren Wilson, her son, Sy Wilson, her grandchildren, Maylin and Kane Wilson, her mother, Alta Mae Silva, her sister, Jill Swango, her brothers, Mark and Tom Silva, her uncle, Bill (Phyllis) Swango, her aunts, Sue Kitchin Reed, Helen Swango, and Joan Endicott, and much beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.
Carol was preceded in death by her father, Charles I. Swango, her grandmother, Ethel Mariam Lewis Swango, her uncles, Howard "Sis" Swango and Doug Endicott, and her in-laws, Garis and Vivian Wilson.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 21, 2017 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St, Bloomington, Indiana 47401.
The funeral will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday at The Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Knightridge Cemetery. Pastor Les Rovenstine will officiate.
