Obituary for LaVance Hanson

LaVance Hanson, 65, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away at her home on Saturday, August 5th, 2017. She was born on September 16, 1951 to Vance A. and Martha E. Young. She graduated from Bloomington High School in 1969. LaVance brought smiles and laughter, gave a motherly scolding, and had a caring heart that she shared with thousands of Bloomington High School North students during her 29 years of employment.

Together they had three children Jennifer Hanson of Little Rock, Arkansas; Melissa (Mark) Haley of Lemoore, California; and Ronald (Tiffany) Hanson of Fort Benning, Georgia. LaVance and Ron also shared the joy of having three grandchildren, Mason Haley, Tessa King, and Everett Hanson.
LaVance is survived by one brother, Ted Mishler of Albany, Kentucky; two sisters, Connie (Henry) Grubb and Loretta (Tom) Crecelius. LaVance also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Kenneth Young and Randolph Young.
