Obituary for Kenneth Lee "Kenny" Robertson

Kenneth Lee "Kenny" Robertson, 60, of Solsberry, passed away on Friday April 14, 2017 at the IU Health Hospice House surrounded by his family. Kenny was born January 29, 1957 in Monroe County and was the son of Virgil and Juanita Mae (Moore) Robertson.
Kenny was a truck driver for Reese Trucking where he delivered mail. He was a member of AmVets, loved watching NASCAR and was an avid CB user with the handle "Silver Eagle".
Kenny is survived by his wife Linda (Purtlebaugh) Robertson of Solsberry, 4 children; Kim Freeman of Solsberry, Jennifer (Richard) Gieselman of Ellettsville, Kelli (Corey) Williams of Wellford, SC and Brandon McNeal of Solsberry. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 2 sisters; Mae (Steve Pauley) Robertson, Kathy (Dan) Drake, Roger (Janette) Robertson and Edward (Jody) Robertson. He also leaves behind his best buddies, Barney, Boo Boo and Gizzy.
Preceding Kenny in death were his parents, sister, Sharon Kay Robertson and brother Virgil Robertson Jr.
Services for Kenny will be 1:00 pm Monday at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard. Burial will follow at Duncan Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Monday from 11:00 am until service time.
