Obituary for William L. Wires

William L. Wires, 88, of Bedford, passed away on Saturday April 1, 2017 at the Stonebridge Health Campus in Bedford. William was born October 4, 1928 in Lawrence County and was the son of the late Lewis and Audna (Henderson) Wires.

William was a homebuilder and loved to be out in his shed working in his free time. He also enjoyed riding around Stonebridge in his motorized wheelchair and talk to everyone.

Survivors include 2 sons Ed Wires (wife Jean) and Jim Wires ( wife Wanita), daughter Kelly Riley (Husband Kevin), 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Arlena Fay Wires in September 2016.

Graveside services will be 1:30 pm Thursday April 6, 2017 at Clear Creek Cemetery with Pastors Kenneth Allen and Harold Godsey officaiting.
