Obituary for Erica C. Black

Erica C. Black (Horn) was born in Rothenburg, Germany February 12, 1935, and immigrated to the U.S. in the early 50s. She was employed by AT&T for 38 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ed Haney and her daughter, Rosemary Merriman. She has three surviving sisters, Marianna, Else, and Ruth, all residing in Germany. She lived a full life, survivor of World War II, and prided herself in living a frugal lifestyle. Her strong German personality lives on in her grandchildren, Lisa, Hannah, Abra, Isaiah, Caleb, and Lydia. Her consistent positive attitude, humor, and love of polka music will be missed by all that knew her.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
