Charles David "Chuck" O'Neal
Charles David "Chuck" O'Neal 74, of Bloomington, passed away on Wednesday March 15, 2017 at McCormick's Creek Rehab and Skilled Nursing. Charles was born May 10, 1942 in Bloomington and was the son of the late Charles H. and Lena Catherine (Bonney) O'Neal.
Charles worked for over 40 years as a truck driver and was designated as a Certified Master Truck Driver by the state of Indiana. He received 2 separate 1,000,000 mile awards for driver safety. He attended Shiloh Pentecostal Church and loved his cat Frisky.
Survivors include his daughter, Charlene Evans (Forrest) of Lafayette, Indiana, brother Jim O'Neal of Worthington, Indiana, aunt, Mildred Clark of Bloomington and uncle Paul Bonney of Bloomington.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 48 years, Irma Joyce O'Neal in 2013.
Services for Charles will be 10:00 am Monday March 20, 2017 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington. Revs. Russell Elkins and Myron Young will officate the services. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-6 pm at The Funeral Chapel.
