Obituary for Robert L. Crouch

Our loving husband, father, and grandfather, Robert “Bob” Crouch age 84, went to be with the Lord in the early hours of Monday, January 9, 2017.
Born, May 5, 1932 in Bloomington, he was the son of the late Thomas M. Crouch Sr. and Pearl (Gilliland) Crouch.
Bob worked for Allison General Motors for 30 years. After retirement he was a school bus driver for MCCSC for seven years and he loved being around the children.
He enjoyed being outdoors, camping, and fishing with friends and family.
He attended Northside Christian Church and was a member of Dolan Ridge Community Church.
Bob is survived by his wife of 66 years, Beulah (Grubb) Crouch, one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Joyce Crouch of Solsberry, three daughters and sons-in-law, Rita and Randy Hacker of Bloomington, Renee and Bryan Hacker, and Robin and Johnie Groomer all of Bloomfield, eight grandchildren, Gregg Crouch, Tina (Crouch) Campbell, Chad and Jenny Hacker, Crystal (Hacker) and Jason Miller, Lindy (Hacker) and Chris Underwood, Adam Hacker, Landon and Samantha Groomer, and Morgan Groomer, nine great-grandchildren, Tristen and Cole Campbell, Lincoln and Gibson Miller, Emma Hacker, Brylee Hacker, Lorelei Underwood, Brixton and Sophy Groomer.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas Crouch Jr., Kenneth and Donald Crouch, sisters, Connie Abrams and Leona Edwards.
Visitation will be 4-8pm Friday, January 13, 2016 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. in Bloomington.
Funeral services will 11:00am Saturday at The Funeral Chapel with Brother Donald Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Payne Cemetery.
