Obituary for Robert Lee "Bob" Gilmore

Robert Lee “Bob” Gilmore, 82, of Bloomington passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at IU Health Hospice House.
Born, June 5, 1934 in Bloomington, he was the son of the late Samuel and Mabel (Welch) Gilmore.
Bob was a maintenance man for Griffith Motor Frieght, Bud Todd Service Welding, and Peck/Cleo.
He was a member of Woodhaven Christian Church.
Bob was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed coaching Little League and Babe Ruth Baseball for over 20 years.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Barbara Sue (Todd) Gilmore of Bloomington, one son, Robert H. “Bob” Gilmore (Stacy D. Gilmore) of Bedford, two granddaughters, Hannah Baker and Bailee Gilmore, one great-granddaughter, Pyper Lentz, one sister, Jeanne Holmes (Jimmie), sisters and brothers-in-law, Ann and Charles Bright, Bud and Susie Todd, two nieces, one nephew, and Bob’s very special friend, Bill Hite.
The family will receive friends 3-7pm Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Woodhaven Christian Church, 3345 S. Leonard Springs Rd. Bloomington, IN 47403.
A Celebration of Life will follow at 7:00pm with Pastor Steve Baker officiating.
The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. in Bloomington is handling arrangements.
