Ezra Curtis "Junior" Bastin Jr.
Ezra Curtis “Junior” Bastin Jr., 65, of Bloomington passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born, March 13, 1951 in Bloomington, he was the son of the late Ezra C. Bastin Sr. and Mable (Percifield) King.
Junior was a self employed mechanic and a graduate of Bloomington High School North.
He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #7117 in Worthington, the AMVETS Post #2000, the Moose Lodge #1081, and the Eagles Lodge #1085 in Bloomington.
Junior was a loving husband and father who enjoyed bowling, playing pool, and auto racing.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Hall Bastin, five children, Cathy Kortea, Tina Bastin, Karrie Bastin, and Alexandra Bastin all of Bloomington, three step-children, Donna, Steve, and Doug Hall, several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, one brother, Mike Bastin (Jan) of Bloomington, one step-brother, Denton Hall, two step-sisters, Jackie Denton and Debbie Haywood.
He was preceded in death by one step-son, Russell Hall, two step-brothers, Ronnie Baker, Scotty Hall and several aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be 11am-1pm Monday, July 11, 2016 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. in Bloomington.
A graveside service will be 1:30pm Monday at Valhalla Memory Gardens in Bloomington.
