Dorena J. Davis (Heady)
Dorena J. Davis, 66 of Bloomington passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at IU Health Hospice House Tuesday, July 05, 2016.
Born, June 2, 1950 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Tate) Heady.
Dorena was a Purchasing Agent at RCA for 20 years and she was a member of the Bloomington Moose Lodge #1081.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed traveling and playing euchre.
Survivors include her husband of nine years, Chuck Davis, four daughters, Amanda Bridgewater of Bloomington, Patricia Smith (Tom) of Pembroke Pines, FL; Kathy Domaratius of Bloomington, and Cassie Knight (Mike) of Bloomington, eight grandchildren, Denelle Abbitt, Liam Bridgwater, Lindsey Smith, Emily Smith, T.J. Smith, Krystal Ann Domaratius, Kenan Domaratius, and Nate Norris.
Dorena was preceded in death by her son, Travis Waldrip (1995) and her granddaughter, Jesse Bridgewater (2010).
Visitation will be 4-8pm Thursday, July 7, 2016 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington, IN 47401.
Funeral services will be 1:30pm Friday at The Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to IU Health Hospice House, 2810 S. Deborah Dr. Bloomington, IN 47403.
