Obituary for Steven C. Baute

Steven C. Baute, Leesburg, FL passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016. He was born June 20, 1949 in Seymour, IN to Carl & Ora (Mellencamp) Baute. Steve was a graduate of Columbus High School and Valparaiso University. He lived in Indianapolis while working for United Parcel Service before retiring to Florida. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church & School in Eustis, FL.
Steve is survived by his wife Marsha (Howard) Baute, brothers Dennis Baute of Columbus, IN and David Baute (Judy), of St. Joseph, MI, Sisters-in-law Lesa Henson (David) and Denise Taylor, Mother-in-law, Louise Howard all of Bloomington, and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tim.
Visitation will be at The Funeral Chapel of Powell & Deckard in Bloomington on Saturday, June 25th from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm with a service following at 1:00 pm with Pastor Steve Myers officiating. Burial will follow in the Greene County Chapel Cemetery.
Contributions in memory of Steve may be made to Faith Lutheran School, 2727 S. Grove St, Eustis, FL 32726.
