LeeAnn LeJeune (Reynolds)
LeeAnn LeJeune, 65, of Bloomington passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 8, 2016 at her residence.
Born March 5, 1951 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Edward T. “Doc” and Norma Jean (Myers) Reynolds.
LeeAnn was a secretary at Lakeview Elementary School for 13 years where her friends, colleagues, and especially the children brought her great joy.
She was a valuable member of the local philanthropic sorority, Delta Theta Tau, Zeta Chapter. A past President and member for 35 years the Monroe County sorority has raised funds for the Bloomington Hospital Foundation, Olcott Center and several other local charities and organizations.
LeeAnn was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister who enjoyed Mickey Mouse, trips to Disney World and fashion.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Butch LeJeune of South Bend, one daughter, Christine Mayes (Grant) of Columbus, OH; one son, J.T. LeJeune (Laura Hunsucker) of Bloomington, her parents, one sister, Linda Pittman (Paul), one brother, Lincoln Reynolds (Melanie) and one nephew, Jason Reynolds all of Bedford.
The family will receive friends 4-8pm Thursday, May 12, 2016 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington, IN 47401.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the Lakeview Elementary School, 9090 S. Strain Ridge Rd. Bloomington, IN 47401.
Her cheerful smile and kind heart will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
