Vera Irene Fritch (Ratliff)
Vera Irene Fritch, 85, of Unionville passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Brown County Health and Living Community.
Born, May 4, 1930 in Monroe County, she was the daughter of Tildon and Leona (Branam) Ratliff.
Vera was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
She worked as a health aid most of her life and held other job positions as well.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Samuel Fritch of Unionville, their children, Diana Chambers, Allen Fritch (Marsha), Karen Fritch and Beth Neal (Bill) all of Bloomington, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, three sisters, Emma Lue Hallerman of Andante, CA; Tillie Shields, Eunice Condra and one brother, Claude Ratliff all of Bloomington.
Vera was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters.
Visitation will be 11am-1pm Thursday, October 29, 2015 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington, IN 47401.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Thursday at The Funeral Chapel with Pastor Roger Helton officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Bethel Lane Community Church, 3333 E. Bethel Lane, Bloomington, IN 47408.
