Obituary for
Jeff Teague
Jeff Teague, 53, of Bloomington, passed away on Tuesday morning October 20, 2015 at Garden Villa Nursing Home. Jeff was born November 6, 1961 in Bloomington and was the son of the late Billy Gene and Carolyn (Moore) Teague.
Jeff was an Army Veteran and was self employed doing snow plowing, power washing, painting and other handyman jobs. He had previously worked at Rainbow Tent, Colorado Steakhouse and the State Department and railroad in Kentucky. Jeff was the “Monty Hall” of Flea Markets and car lots always buying and selling cars, and any other deals he could find. He loved Hot Rods, racing, and football.
Survivors include his companion of 17 years Vickie Davenport, daughter, Crystal Utterback (Chris), grandchildren, Makala Johnson and Jaxson Utterback, sister, Becky Napier (Edward) and two brothers, Billy D. Teague and Randy Teague all of Bloomington. Also surviving are 3 aunts; Nancy Gilliland, Jo Hawkins, and Donna Moore and 2 uncles; Virgil Moore and Bill Moore, along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents, Marie Teague, Philip Teague, Harry Moore and Lucille Moore, and aunt, Harriett Anderson, and uncle Benny Moore.
Services for Jeff will be 1:00 pm Saturday October 24, 2015 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington. Pastor Steve Baker will officiate the service and burial will follow at Green Valley Cemetery in Nashville.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 am until service time at The Funeral Chapel.
Contributions may be given in Jeff’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
