Obituary for Sheila Dawn Wampler

Sheila Dawn Wampler, 44, of Cottageville, SC and formerly of Bloomington, passed away on Sunday September 13, 2015 as the result of a car accident in Summerville, SC. Sheila was born December 14, 1970 in Bloomington and was the daughter of Ira Ronald and Ruby (Salesman) Wampler. She was a 1989 graduate of Bloomington High School North and was currently an Assistant Manager for Dollar General in South Carolina. She was previously employed at the Dollar General in Bloomington and had been with the company for 12 years. She had attended Dolan Ridge Church and loved to read. She also had a love for horses. Sheila will be missed by her family, co-workers, friends and close friend Jan Colbert. Survivors include her parents, Ira Ronald and Ruby (Salesman) Wampler of Bloomington, brother, Robert Wayne Wampler (Sherry) of Covington, IN, sister, Stephanie Sluss of Bloomington, nephews, Jerry D. Flynn and Nathaniel Wampler, and niece Amber Inlow. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins, which include, William and Wilma Wampler, Deniese and Mick Hubbard, Lula Crouch, Shirley Clark, Sharon Clinton, James Salesman (Marilyn), Jerry and Jan Salesman, Juanita Brosman, Mary and Max Klass and a special cousin Lori Klien and her husband Kevin and their children. Also surviving is her dog Burl. Sheila was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ira I. and Etta Wampler, Dennis & Alberta Salesman, Alma Salesman and nephew Ethan Alexander Wampler. Services for Sheila will be 11:00 am Wednesday September 23, 2015 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third ST. Bloomington. Don Christy will officiate the service and burial will follow at Little Union Cemtery. Visitation will be on Tuesday September 22, 2015 from 4-8 pm at The Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions may be made to The Funeral Chapel or the Bloomington Animal Shelter.
