Wilma Marie Brown, 90, of Indianapolis, formerly of Bloomington, passed away Monday, November 21, 2016 at Forest Creek Village in Indianapolis.
Born, March 7, 1926 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of the late Albert “Doc” Adams and Marie (Gilliland) Adams.
Wilma was a Registered Nurse retiring from the Bloomington Hospital.
Survivors include one sister, Marilyn Kay Graham Cape Coral, Florida, two granddaughters, Tracy Robb and Cheyenne Brown, one grandson, Jeremy Robb, two great granddaughters, Kielee Gothe and Hope Dixon, two great grandsons, Stephen Dixon and Daniel Conder.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Brown, one daughter, Cindy Brown, one son, Joe Brown, one sister Betty Chambers, and two brothers, Albert “Gene” Adams and Lloyd Adams.
Visitation will be 11am-1pm Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. in Bloomington.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday at The Funeral Chapel.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Bloomington Hospital, 601 W. Second St. Bloomington, IN 47403.
