Obituary for Nicholas James Drossos

Nicholas James Drossos
Friday Morning October 28, 2016 this world lost one of its sweet children. Nicholas James Drossos died in the early hours of the morning in his home in Florida due to severe undiagnosed Pneumonia. Nicholas left behind his loving wife Hannah, his father Christ, and such a large spread love from family and friends.

Nicholas was 25 and fulfilling his dreams in Florida. Born on December 19, 1990 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, he was adopted into the loving home of Christ and Debra Drossos. Nick attended primary school at University Elementary and Tri-North Middle School, and was a member of the Bloomington High School North, graduating class of 2009.

As a young man he wanted success, adventure, and new experiences. In 2014 he met the love of his life Hannah Hansen. Their love has never been questioned as to its purity. It took two years of figuring out life together for them to finally take the leap of matrimony. He and his new wife of 3 months were living in their first home, while he attended and exceled at Keiser University in the Golf & Sports Management program studying to become a Golf Pro.

Nicholas touched so many with not only his incredible smile, but his overwhelmingly large heart. He was always sure to share his love with all around him, whether be a stranger or a friend. One thing he was NOT, was unkind. Along with Golf, Nicholas loved sports, animals, going to the gym, cooking, and had a passion for music. Music was one of the things in this world that he felt truly could express his feelings and emotions. The world has lost one of its biggest hearts and brightest personalities.

A Private Family Memorial will be held Friday, November 18th, and the Celebration of his life will be held on the 19th at the Fountain Square Ballroom in Bloomington, IN from 4-8pm. Please bring any stories, photos, or memories you would care to share in our remembrance books. There will be light food and beverage served, please note this is a Dry event.
