Obituary for Herrel DeWeese

Herrel DeWeese, 81, of Bloomington passed away Friday, August 26, 2016 at Golden Living Center.
Born, August 17, 1935 in Aberdeen Kentucky, he was the son of the late Troy and Velcie (Cannon) DeWeese.
He was a Sheet Metal Worker for the Local #20 in Indianapolis.
Herrel was a loving husband and father who enjoyed singing and playing music, especially with his son.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Janice (McKinney) DeWeese, one son, Mark DeWeese both of Bloomington, one brother, Richard DeWeese of Spencer, two nieces, Phyllis DeWeese and Kim DeWeese, and one nephew, Dennis DeWeese.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Raymond DeWeese.
Visitation will be 4-8pm Monday, August 29, 2016 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. in Bloomington and 4-8pm Tuesday at Jones Funeral Chapel, 927 G.L. Smith St. Morgantown, KY 42261.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Jones Funeral Chapel in Morgantown, KY; with Pastor Brian Neighbors officiating. Burial will follow at Sandy Creek Cemetery in Morgantown, KY.
In memory of Herrel DeWeese the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis TN.
